What is the ABPI?
The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) represents innovative research-based bio-pharmaceutical companies of all sizes.
They represent companies who supply more than 80% of the value of all branded medicines used by the NHS. The ABPI ensures the UK remains at the forefront of helping patients.
The government recognises the ABPI as the industry body.
The ABPI Code is administered by the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA)
What does ABPI membership mean to us?
We see becoming a General Affiliate Member of the ABPI a significant step forward.
In our commitment to working in alignment with industry associations and regulatory bodies, we aim to continue to develop our expertise and experience; While also providing a significant contribution to the industry through our work.
Ethical interactions between industry and the healthcare community is a key area of focus for RedefineCompliance.
We want to grow and develop our knowledge in our day to day work by keeping acquainted with industry developments and draw upon ABPI experts to support and discuss prominent issues in the industry.
How does our ABPI membership add value to our clients?

Our commitment is to continue working with regulators and clients who want to make a difference to patients.
We also work with clients outside of the UK, the ABPI is a member of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and incorporates the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) requirements. Being familiar with these codes, we open doors to companies outside of the UK.
Shortly, we will be launching our sister company RedefineProfessionals, where we will be targeting recruitment for highly skilled and talented individuals in the industry; primarily in the regulatory and compliance space within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical and commercial roles.
Our membership will enable us to support companies looking to fill opportunities. In the spirit of the code of practices; We believe it will help us to recruit and match the right candidates for the right roles for organisations, in line with their own company ethical behaviours and standards.

As General Affiliate Members of the ABPI, we will have the opportunity to contribute to networking events, seminars and committees.
We aim to actively engage with the ABPI, industry peers and colleagues to work as informal representatives of the clients that we serve — providing a broad picture and insight into industry challenges and trends.
